It comprises various methods and techniques for calculating current flows, voltages, load distributions and other important parameters in a network.<\/p>\n<p>Load flow calculation<strong>:<\/strong> This includes the calculation of current flows and voltages in a network, taking into account loads, feeds, network configuration and operating conditions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Short-circuit current calculation: This refers to the determination of the maximum short-circuit current at various points in the network in order to correctly dimension the protective devices.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Voltage drop calculation: <\/strong> This calculates the voltage drop along the lines and at the nodes in the network to ensure that the voltage is within acceptable limits.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Network stability analysis: This analyses the stability of the network under various operating conditions to ensure that the network can react appropriately to faults or load fluctuations.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Power flow optimisation: <\/strong> This includes the optimisation of operating parameters such as power factor, load distribution and grid configuration in order to improve the efficiency and reliability of grid operation.<\/p>\n<p>Integration of renewable energies<strong>:<\/strong> The integration of renewable energy takes into account various aspects, such as the intermittent nature of renewable energy sources and their impact on load flow and grid stability.<\/p>\n<p>The network calculation is carried out using computer simulation programs that use complex mathematical models to analyse and optimise the behaviour of the network under different scenarios.
